मसूरी: मोटर मार्ग में पैराफिट न होने से यात्री जान जोखिम में डालकर यात्रा कर रहे हैं। पैराफिट न होने के कारण अक्सर वाहन सीधे ही अनियंत्रित होकर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो जाते हैं। जिसकी तस्दीक बढ़ते हादसे कर रहे हैं। स्थानीय लोग इस बारे में कई बार विभाग के अधिकारियों को अवगत करा चुके हैं। बीजेपी सांसद राजीव प्रताप रूडी के समधी-समधन और जेडीयू नेता व पूर्व सांसद के बहन-बहनोई की शनिवार को सड़क हादसे में मौत हो गई थी। हादसा देहरादून-मसूरी रोड पर शनिवार रात को हुआ था। इस हादसे में मृतक दंपति का बेटा और ड्राइवर बच गए. वहीं, सड़क किनारे पैराफिट और क्रॉस बैरियरों न होने के कारण वाहन सीधे खाई में जा गिरी। मसूरी-देहरादून किमाड़ी मार्ग संकरा होने के साथ ही कई जगह पर जर्जर हालत में है। वहीं लोगों का कहना है कि अगर सड़क किनारे पर पैराफिट होता तो वाहन खाई में जाने से बच सकता था। वहीं पैराफिट न होने से वाहन दुर्घटनाओं के शिकार हो रहे हैं.मसूरी-देहरादून का मुख्य मार्ग पर कोरोना को लेकर प्रशासन और पुलिस द्वारा चलाए जा रहे चेकिंग अभियान के से बचने के लिए लोग इस मार्ग का उपयोग कर रहे हैं। जिससे मार्ग पर वाहनों की आवाजाही काफी बढ़ गई है. मसूरी-देहरादून किमाड़ी मार्ग पर हो रहे हादसों की मुख्य वजह सड़क किनारे पैराफिट और क्रॉस बैरियरों का न होना है।सीओ मसूरी नरेंद्र पंत का भी कहना है कि, सड़क किनारे क्रॉस बैरियरों के साथ ही सड़क का चौड़ीकरण होना जरूरी है। जिससे लगातार हो रहे हादसों को टाला जा सके. उन्होंने कहा कि इस संबंध में जल्द उच्च अधिकारियों के साथ वार्ता कर शासन-प्रशासन से पत्राचार कर किमाड़ी मार्ग पर क्रॉस बैरियरों को लगवाया जाएगा।
