काशीपुर: रामनगर रोड स्थित एसआरएफ फैक्ट्री के समीप कॉलोनी में रहने वाले एक व्यापारी ने कमरे में फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। सूचना पर मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए भेज दिया है। काशीपुर में मुख्य बाजार में रहने वाले पुनीत अग्रवाल (55) काशीपुर में व्यवसाय करते हैं। पिछले 4 साल से रामनगर रोड स्थित एसआरएफ फैक्ट्री के पीछे शांति नगर कॉलोनी में गोदाम और आवास बनाकर रह रहे थे। उन्होंने आज कमरे में फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। घटना का पता तब चला जब आज सुबह नौकर उन्हें कमरे में दूध देने गया। नौकर ने आसपास के लोगों को इस बारे में सूचना दी। जिसके बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने पुलिस को घटना की सूचना दी। सूचना मिलने पर प्रतापपुर पुलिस चौकी के बीट प्रभारी नरेंद्र मेहता मौके पर पहुंचे और उच्चाधिकारियों को घटनाक्रम से अवगत कराया। पुलिस ने घटना स्थल से कोई सुसाइड नोट भी मिला है। जिसमें व्यापारी ने किसी को भी मौत का जिम्मेदार नहीं ठहराया है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
