महाकुंभ के आयोजन को लेकर तमाम शंकाओं को निराधार बताते हुए बोले ,महामंडलेश्वर अवधेशानंद गिरी
हरिद्वार में अगले साल होने वाले महाकुंभ का आयोजन तय समय पर ही होगा। कुम्भ के आयोजन को लेकर तमाम शंकाओं को निराधार बताते हुए सन्यासियों के सबसे बड़े जूना अखाड़े के आचार्य महामंडलेश्वर अवधेशानंद गिरी ने कहा है कि इस बार कुम्भ का योग कई शताब्दियों के बाद 11 सालों में बना है लिहाजा कुम्भ के स्थगन का कोई सवाल ही नहीं पैदा होता। महाकुंभ 2021 अपने समय पर ही होगा और पहला शाही स्नान 11 मार्च को होगा। दरअसल कोरोना के चलते यह कयास लगाए जा रहे थे कि हरिद्वार कुम्भ भी एक साल आगे खिसक जाएगा क्योंकि कुम्भ का आयोजन हर 12 साल में होता है और हरिद्वार में पिछला कुम्भ 2010 में हुआ था। आचार्य महामंडलेश्वर अवधेशानंद गिरी के अनुसार अगर कुम्भ के समय भी स्थितियां ऐसे ही रहीं तो प्रतीकात्मक रूप से कुम्भ स्नान होगा लेकिन किसी भी कीमत पर कुम्भ का समय आगे नही बढ़ेगा। दरअसल ज्योतिषियों के अनुसार जब मेष राशि मे सूर्य और कुम्भ राशि मे ब्रहस्पति होते हैं तब हरिद्वार में कुम्भ का आयोजन होता है और यह संयोग 2021 में ही बन रहा है।
चार धाम यात्रा को लेकर शासन प्रशासन ने यात्रा से संबंधित विभागों को दिए सख्त निर्देश 
चारधाम यात्रा एवं कांवड़ मेले को लेकर तैयारियों में जुटी हरिद्वार पुलिस 
पौड़ी पुलिस फरार चल रहे वारण्टियों को दूसरे प्रांतों से भी कर रही गिरफ्तार 
जनपद की कोटद्वार पुलिस ने वाहन चोरी के अभियुक्त को चोरी की स्कूटी सहित 24 घण्टे के अन्दर धर दबोचा 
सेलाकुई क्षेत्र में हुई चोरी की घटना का दून पुलिस ने किया खुलासा
