ऋषिकेश-नगर निगम महापौर अनिता ममगाई ने कोरोना के उपचार में भारतीय चिकित्सा पद्वति के कारगर उपचार और इम्यूनिटी बड़ाने की अचूक छमता को देखते हुए आयुवेर्द चिकित्सकों से वार्ता कर उनसे शहर की जनता को आयुवेर्दिक चिकित्सा दिए जाने का आह्वान किया।भारतीय चिकित्सा परिषद, उत्तराखंड सरकार के नामित सदस्य एव अंतरराष्ट्रीय आयुर्वेद विशेषज्ञ डा डी के श्रीवास्तवा के नेतृत्व में आयुवेर्द चिकित्सकों के दल ने नगर निगम पहुंचकर समाज को दी जा रही सेवाओं की जानकारी दी।
डॉ0 श्रीवास्तवा ने बताया आयुर्वेद में शरीर और मन दोनों को उच्च स्तर पर स्वस्थ रखने की तमाम व्याख्यान उप्लब्ध है । स्वस्थ मन ही स्वस्थ शरीर का निर्माण करता है इसलिए आप सभी शारीरिक खुराक के साथ साथ मानसिक खुराक यानी खुशी , मैडिटेशन, अच्छी पुस्तको का अध्यन , सभी की सराहना करने की आदत, और हास्य (लाफिंग) को प्रतिदिन अपनी दिनचर्या में शामिल करें इससे आप का तनाव , क्रोध ,ईर्ष्या , नफरत और दुखों का अंत शीघ्र होकर आपके शरीर मे प्रफुलित ,हसमुख , और तनाव रहित मन का वास होकर आपकी ऊर्जा और इम्युनिटी में जबरदस्त इज़ाफ़ा होगा।

डॉ0 श्रीवास्तवा ने बताया कि ऋषिकेश अयुर्वेदिक डॉक्टर्स एसोसिएशन के सभी सदस्य इस महामारी में आप सभी के स्वस्थ की बचाव हेतु आप को प्रतिदिन आयुष मंत्रालय द्वारा निर्देशित अयुर्वेदिक काढ़ा का वितरण कर आपको कोरोना से बचाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है और प्रतिदिन फ्रंट लाइन वारियर्स जिसमे नगर निगम के कर्मचारी पुलिस डॉक्टर्स ,नर्सेज इमरजेंसी सर्विसेज को कोरोना से बचाव का काढ़ा पिछले 10 दिनों से प्रतिदिन पिला रहे हैं।
नगर निगम की मेयर अनिता ममगाई ने अयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सको के इस प्रयास को भारत सरकार के मुहिम में मील का पत्थर बनने की बधाईयां दी और प्रतिदिन नगर निगम में 10 बजे से 2 बजे तक इस काढा को वितरित करने का विश्वास दिलाया।उन्होंने कहा कि
कोरोना की वैशविक महामारी में भारत इस संकट से जिस तरह बखूबी ढंग से निपट रहा है उसकी पुष्टि न केवल डब्ल्यू एच ओ जैसी अंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्थाएं और विश्व स्तर पर तारीफ और शाबासी से बल्कि उन सर्वेक्षणों से भी होती है जो प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के नेतृत्व में कोरोना से बचाव के गाइड लाइन की मान्यता में जनता के पूर्ण विश्वास और अगाध आस्था को रेखांकित करते हैं।कार्यक्रम में नगर निगम के आयुक्त नरेंद्र सिंह क्वीरियाल, रोटरी क्लब के अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र बड़थ्वाल, अयुर्वेदिक डॉक्टर्स एसोसिएशन के सदस्य डॉ0 जी0 एल0 अरोरा , डॉ0 डी0पी0 वलोदी , उपाध्यक्ष डॉ0सीमा सक्सेना, सचिव डॉ0 भास्कर आनंद , फार्मासिस्ट नीतीश बधानी , संजय रतूड़ी , मदन खाती एवं डॉ0 सी बी शर्मा उपस्थित थे।
