*तम्बाकू निषेध दिवस पर स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी ने दिया संदेश*
परमार्थ निकेतन के परमाध्यक्ष स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी महाराज ने आज तम्बाकू निषेध दिवस के अवसर पर देशवासियों को संदेश दिया कि सही चुनो, सभी चुनो – तम्बाकू या जीवन। नशामुक्त जीवन पद्धति को अपनाओ। जिन्दगी चुनो तम्बाकू नहीं, जीवन है तो सब कुछ है इसलिये तम्बाकू की छुट्टी करो। अगर अपने जीवन और अपनों के जीवन से प्यार है तो तम्बाकू के साथ अन्य सभी नशीली वस्तुओं का बहिष्कार करना होगा।
स्वामी जी ने कोरोना काल की घटना को याद करते हुये कहा कि लाॅक डाउन के समय शराब की दुकानें बंद थी, कुछ दिनों बाद सरकार ने दुकाने खोली तो लोग शराब खरीदने के लिये छः सात घन्टे लाइन में लगे रहे। क्या नशा है शराब का! जिसके आगे मृत्यु का डर भी छोटा पड़ गया। नशा शराब या तम्बाकू में नहीं हमारी सोच में है अतः सोच से नशे को बाहर निकालना होगा क्योंकि तम्बाकू केवल कैंसर ही नहीं बल्कि दिल की धड़कन को रोक देता है।
स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी महाराज ने कहा, ’’ जिन्दगी चुनें तम्बाकू नहीं। याद रखे तम्बाकू जानलेवा है भगवान ने गिनती की साँसे दी है एक सिगरेट पीने से एक साँस कम हो जाती है, एक बीड़ी पीने से दो साँसे कम हो जाती है और एक पैकेट गुटका खाने से चार साँसे कम हो जाती है। उन्होने कहा कि भारत में दस लाख और विश्व स्तर में 70 लाख से अधिक लोग हर साल तम्बाकू और सिगरेट के सेवन अकाल मृत्यु को प्राप्त हो जाते है। सिगरेट और तम्बाकू कैंसर कारक है; कैंसर का सबसे बड़ा कारण है इससे हमें बचना चाहिये। स्वामी जी ने कहा कि हृदय रोग विशेषज्ञों ने बताया की दिल की बीमारी का प्रमुख कारण धूम्रपान है, लोग समझते है कि धूम्रपान से फेफड़े को ही नुकसान पहुंचता है परन्तु सच माने तो हृदय रोग का प्रमुख कारण धूम्रपान ही है। स्वामी जी ने लोगों को पेसिव स्मोकिग से सचेत रहने का संदेश दिया। जब घर के दूसरे लोग धूम्रपान करते है तो इसका असर परिवार के सदस्यों एवं आसपास के लोगों पर भी पड़ता है अतः अपने आसपास रहने वालों को भी तम्बाकू का सेवन न करने की सलाह दों जिससे उनका और पूरे परिवार का जीवन सुरक्षित किया जा सकता है। स्वामी जी ने कहा, ’’अगर जीवन से है प्यार, तो तम्बाकू का करे बहिस्कार।’’
स्वामी जी ने देशवासियों से अपील करते हुये कहा कि वर्तमान समय में चारों ओर कोरोना संकट मंडरा रहा है, सरकार ने अनलाॅक करने का फैसला लिया परन्तु कोरोना संकट अभी यथावत है। सरकार ने लोगों को छूट दी लेकिन कोरोना ने छूट नहीं दी अतः अत्यंत जरूरी है तो ही घर से बाहर निकले तथा अपनी जान और जहान को सुरक्षित रखने में सहयोग प्रदान करें।
