डॉक्टरो की माने तो डेंगू के बारे में सबसे खास बात यह है कि इसके मच्छर दिन के समय काटते हैं और इसका मच्छर साफ पानी में पनपता हैं। बड़ों के मुकाबले यह बच्चों में ज्यादा तेजी फैलता है। डेंगू के दौरान यदि तुरंत उपचार न किया जाए तो यह जानलेवा भी हो सकता है, क्योंकि डेंगू बुखार में प्लेटलेट्स का स्तर बहुत तेजी से नीचे गिरता है जिससे कई बार अंदरूनी रक्त्स्त्राव होने की संभावना भी रहती हैं । डेंगू को लेकर नारसन सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र के चिकित्सा अधीक्षक विवेक तिवारी का कहना है कि डेंगू से बचने के लिए जागरूक होना बेहद जरूरी है, सबको यही ध्यान रखना है कि कहीं भी साफ पानी इक्कठा ना होने दे, उनका कहना है कि कोरोना के चक्कर मे लोग डेंगू को ना भूल जाये इसीलिए सबको जागरूक रहने की आवश्यकता है। इसके साथ ही स्वस्थ्य विभाग भी डेंगू को लेकर पूरी तरह से अलर्ट है
