नैनीताल नगर पालिका परिषद में आज बोर्ड बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में पालिका अध्यक्ष सचिन नेगी सहित समस्त वार्डो के सभासद मौजूद रहे 3 घन्टे चली बैठक में सभासदों अपने अपने वार्डों की समस्या और सुझाव रखे। बैठक में नगरपालिका को बेहतर बनाने के साथ ही पालिका की आय बढ़ाने सहित कई मुद्दों पर भी विचार विमर्श किया गया। नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष ने कहा बोर्ड बैठक में दैनिक आउटसोर्स कर्मचारी की सेवाओं को बढ़ाते हुए 2021 तक किया गया। नगर पालिका में आय के श्रोत्र को बढ़ाने के लिए पहल करते हुए अन्य नगरों की नगर निगम और नगर पालिकाओं की तर्ज पर व्यवसायिक गतिविधियों से जुड़े दुकानदारों से लाइसेंस फीस लेने का सर्वसम्मति से फैसला लिया गया है। जिससे नगर पालिका की आय में वर्द्धि होगी और नगर पालिका अपनी जरुरतों को पूरा कर सकेगी।
