ऋषिकेश- कोरोना की मार से हर कोई कराह रहा है। गरीब एवं मेहनतकश लोगों के बाद तेजी से मध्यमवर्गीय लोग भी वैश्विक महामारी के चलते बंद हुए काम धंधों की वजह से आर्थिक तंगी की चपेट में आ गये हैं।हालत यह है कि लोगों के घरों में राशन खत्म है और उसे खरीदने के उनके पास पैसे नहीं है ।ऐसा ही एक मामला आज आशुतोष नगर में सामने आया। जब स्थानीय पार्षद भगवान सिंह पवार ने नगर निगम महापौर अनिता ममगाई को सूचना दी कि आशुतोष नगर में नो परिवार के पास राशन पूरी तरह से खत्म हो चुका है ।आर्थिक तंगी झेल रहे इन परिवारों के पास सारी जमा पूंजी खर्च हो चुकी है ।सूचना मिलते ही नगर निगम महापौर ने बिना दैर किए तुरंत अपने कैम्प कार्यालय से शासन एवं प्रशासन के सहयोग से उन सभी नौं परिवारों के लिए राशन की व्यवस्था करवा दी।महापौर ममगाई ने बताया कि पिछले दो माह से कोविड 19 के कहर के चलते लोगों को बेहद मुश्किल हालातों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।निगम प्रशासन का पूरा प्रयास है कि इस कोरोना संकटकाल में हर मुश्किल में घिरे व्यक्ति तक राहत सामग्री पहुचाई जाती रहे। उन्होंने बताया निगम के सभी पार्षदों से भी कहा गया है कि अपने अपने वार्डो में कमजोर आर्थिक स्थिति वाले परिवारों पर नजर रखें और यदि किसी को मदद की आवश्यकता है तो उन्हें सूचित करें। उन परिवार वालों तक आवश्यकतानुसार राशन भिजवा दिया जाायेेेगा।
